The Melbourne Museum is the largest museum in the Southern Hemisphere, attracting 2 million visitors each year and supported by more than 600 staff and 500 volunteers. As with any major leisure organization, there can be natural peak, tickets can sell-out and parking can be difficult to obtain. Melbourne Museum wanted to find a way to improve the parking experience for their customers. The parking journey needed to be considered as part of the overall experience, making it a seamless part of the customers visit.
Melbourne Museum partnered with TNS to implement AltitudeReservation, TNS parking pre-booking platform. Enabling customers to book parking in advance resulted to an improved, integrated parking experience for their customers and overall contributed to an increase in parking customers.
