As the world copes with the COVID-19 pandemic, Transaction Network Services (TNS) has a heightened sense of responsibility for the health and safety of its employees, customers, partners and communities. This virus is a reminder of how interconnected the actions of business and employees are and the importance of exercising care and caution when making crucial decisions.
TNS is monitoring and implementing actions consistent with government orders and regulations as well as recommendations from the World Health Organization (WHO), the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and local health organizations in the cities and regions where TNS operates.
Globally TNS has taken steps in an effort to help “flatten the curve” of this virus and to mitigate the potential impact of the outbreak on our employees and business. These steps include the following:
TNS’ network operations remain fully operational. TNS has a global network and maintains multiple 24x7x365 Network Operation Centers (NOCs) at diverse locations. The NOCs have implemented strategies, such as rotational shifting, to ensure monitoring services continue while providing a safe environment for employees. Each NOC, as well as other supporting facilities, can independently monitor and manage the network; in addition TNS has well-established, annually reviewed and tested business continuity/disaster recovery plans in place. These plans can be invoked quickly should the conditions dictate.
TNS will continue to closely monitor the dynamic situation surrounding COVID-19 to ensure that its preventative and responsive strategies are aligned with recommendations and plans proposed by the relevant government and WHO, CDC and local health authorities.
