Rick Gilbody
Global Head of Sales and Marketing, Waypoint Trading Solutions
Rick Gilbody is Global Head of Sales and Marketing for Waypoint Trading Solutions. He joined Waypoint in 2020 as Director of Business Development, before being promoted to Head of North America Sales and Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Rick is experienced in data center colocation, low latency exchange infrastructure, network design and real-time market data.
Having started his career as a Business Analyst for Business Development at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Euronext in 2012, Rick has held several senior sales positions in the financial services industry.
Prior to Waypoint, Rick was Senior Sales Director for the NYSE Infrastructure Unit at the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). He was responsible for 25 major strategic accounts for the secure financial transaction infrastructure (SFTI) and colocation business. Most recently, he was Vice President of Business Development for Lucera Financial Infrastructures where he was responsible for all business development in North America.
Rick received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Babson College in Massachusetts. Outside of work, he enjoys playing softball and spending quality time with his family.
