Paul Florack

Vice President, Product Management, TNS Communications Market

Paul Florack is Vice President of Product Management for TNS’ Communications Market, overseeing carrier services including call identity and robocall mitigation, core signaling and database, and mobility and roaming solutions. He is responsible for product lifecycle management, business forecasting, and profitability.

At TNS, Paul has led major initiatives such as the company’s identity and Call Guardian® services. He also manages the data science team that develops algorithms to combat robocalls by analyzing billions of cross‑carrier call events each month, while shaping strategies for emerging technologies like IP, LTE/5G evolution, and call authentication.

Paul joined TNS in 2009 through its acquisition of VeriSign Communications Services Group, after 15 years in product management at VeriSign and Illuminet (formerly ITN). Earlier, he held engineering, operations, and planning roles at Rochester Telephone.

With more than 30 years of industry experience, Paul is co‑author of Wireless Intelligent Networking (Artech House), has spoken at leading telecom conferences, and has served on the boards of the Open Identity Exchange (OIX) and the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS).

He holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Potsdam College, a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Clarkson University, and an MBA from the University of Rochester’s Simon School. Based in Overland Park, Kansas, Paul is active in the Kansas City lacrosse community, coaching both youth and high school teams.
