Personal Information

Cequint, or third party communications service providers acting on our behalf (“Service Providers”), may collect personal information from you when you use the service(s). The personal information collected includes your telephone number and may include other information as described to you at the point of collection.

Non-Personal Information

As part of the standard operation of the service(s), Cequint or its Service Providers may collect certain non-personal information from you. The non-personal information collected through operation of the service(s) may include, but is not limited to, the identity of your Service Provider, your device make and model and firmware version, your device operating system and version, your unique device and account identifiers, the version of the service(s) application on your device as well as information about the state of your subscription to the service(s), your interactions with the service(s), and technical, transactional, or other information generated by your use of the service(s).

2. INFORMATION NOT COLLECTED

Cequint does not collect or transmit any information contained in the address book of your mobile device.

3. INFORMATION USE

Cequint or its Service Providers may use the personal and non-personal information collected from and about you for any of the following purposes: (1) to provide, promote, and personalize the service(s), (2) to help invoice for the service(s), (3) to improve and enhance the service(s), (4) to review and report on the usage and operations of the service(s), (5) to ensure technical functioning of the service(s) and detect and address problems with the service(s), and (6) to protect the security or integrity of the service(s) and our business. We may combine your personal information with other non-personal information about you for use in connection with the above referenced purposes. We also may use your personal information, as described to you at the point of collection, with your consent.

4. INFORMATION DISCLOSURE

Cequint may disclose the personal and non-personal information we collect from and about you as follows: (1) to your Service Provider if the disclosure will help them properly invoice you for the Service, provide Service fulfillment, or fulfill other business purposes, (2) to our affiliated entities (e.g. our parent company, subsidiaries, and related companies) and Service Providers, if the disclosure will enable them to perform a business, professional, or technical support function for us, (3) as necessary if we believe there has been a violation of the applicable subscriber terms and conditions of our service(s), or a violation of our rights or the rights of any third party, (4) to respond to judicial process and provide information to law enforcement agencies or in connection with an investigation on matters related to public safety, as permitted by law, or otherwise as required by law, and (5) as described to you at the point of collection, with your consent.

Also, Cequint may sell or purchase assets during the normal course of our business. If another entity acquires us or any of our assets, personal and non-personal information we have collected about you may be transferred to such entity. In addition, if any bankruptcy or reorganization proceeding is brought by or against us, such information may be considered an asset of ours and may be sold or transferred to third parties.

5. BRANDED SERVICES & THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

Cequint may allow some of its Service Providers to use and provide our service(s) under their own brand. In those cases, the applicable Service Provider’s privacy policy will apply rather than this privacy policy. Additionally, our service(s) may contain links to third-party websites. In those cases, the applicable privacy policy of the third-party websites applies to your use of such websites. Cequint is not responsible for such third parties’ websites or privacy policies.

6. OUR COMMITMENT TO DATA SECURITY

Cequint has taken certain physical, administrative, and technical steps to safeguard the information we collect from and about users of the service(s). Cequint follows industry standard practices to help ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems; however, this statement does not represent a guarantee of data integrity or security.
